2m D-Star calling channel (144.6125MHz) on Sunday 10/10/10 from Gillingham in Kent.
Not much happening, even though there's a bit of a lift on 2m.

Something I like to do is Play Ham Radio, there is so much you can do and you will never get to know everything but YOU can try....
It's pretty quiet on the D-Star simplex calling frequency. The only person I have had a (successful) conversation with on D-Star Simplex is, G6HIV, and he lives just up the road! ;)

Hello Robert, Like Jon I've also had one qso, but that was five years ago at least. Nothing since *sigh*. In and out the box for years. Just got it out again as a new repeater has got the ok near Poole/Bournemouth, however, it's not operational yet. I am on the limit of it's coverage, being in Calshot (Nr Fawley, New Forest) but you never know your luck. Maybe when it comes on line more people will be tempted to get some kit. Bit of a gamble down my neck of the woods. I basically spent 600 quid all those years ago and scored an own goal Hi!.
