he following is a compiled list of "eSSB Ready" transceivers.
All of the transceivers mentioned (except for the Kenwood TS-870 with a good quality microphone) require some form of external audio processing to sound well balanced.

  1. I got in touch with the Flex tech guys and they e-mailed me back with this answer which might help others if they are thinking of getting a SDR Radio.



    The differences in max TX bandwidth of the radios are as follows.

    Flex 1500 - 3650 hz per sideband or 7300 hz DSB or AM
    Flex 3000 - 4600 hz per sideband or 9200 hz DSB or AM
    Flex 5000 - 9999 hz per sideband or 19998 hz DSB or AM

    All these are fully adjustable one hz at a time from 0 to full bandwidth.

    All the radios are fully adjustable on receive, 0 to 20 khz wide, 10 khz per sideband.
